A reminder that a Celebration of Garth’s life will be held on Saturday November 2, 2019, 1:30 to 4 p.m. Memories will be shared at 2 p.m. at The Concert Hall at Victoria Hall, 55 King St., West in Cobourg.

VOS THEATRE will announce the Watson Memorial Scholarship to be awarded annually to one graduating student from Northumberland County who is pursuing post secondary education. The recipient will have demonstrated an outstanding and ongoing contribution to technical aspects of theatre in school and/or Community Theatre productions. Garth loved to build and invent and work on projects that elevated theatre productions and knew the true value of the work done backstage in a production. We thought this was a fitting way to honour him.

Donations to the scholarship can be made through e-transfer to theatre@vostheatre.com (memo Watson Memorial) or by cheque to VOS, memo line Watson Memorial. They will also be thankfully accepted at the Celebration of Life on Saturday.
